With rapid growth in the Australian market and the recent acquisition of 7 student living apartment communities, we’re seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales operations. This newly created role is pivotal in driving sales performance and leading a team of Sales Associates to achieve outstanding results.
As we expand in Australia, this position has a “startup-style” nature backed by the resources and support of a globally recognised brand and presence. The Sales Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies, operational frameworks, and business processes from the ground up.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead & Develop – Manage the Central Sales Team, drive performance, and foster a high-performing culture.
- Leasing & Strategy – Develop scalable, tech-driven leasing solutions and contribute to marketing initiatives.
- Sales Performance & Insights – Track KPIs, sales trends, and competitor data to optimize leasing and occupancy.
- Stakeholder & Partner Management – Build strong relationships with key demand channels, agents, and global partners.
- Customer Experience – Enhance the leasing journey, champion improvements, and drive customer satisfaction metrics (NPS, CSAT).
- Operations & Growth – Forecast and manage resources, oversee budgeting, and implement innovative sales strategies.
- Innovation & Optimisation - Drive innovation and identify opportunities to embrace new technology, customer experience and digital trends
About you:
To be successful in this role, you should have skills including:
- Tertiary education within business, management or other relevant fields
- Demonstrated experience within real estate, preferably gained within the student accommodation sector
- Demonstrated experience in setting up and managing B2C sales and service teams and processes
- People leadership skills, leading and coaching a sales team to achieve commercial success
- Experience using technology including Salesforce or equivalent CRM’s, MS office, presentation design and other relevant software
- Demonstrated ability to work with data, providing analysis, data driven reports providing insights and recommendations to the business
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
