JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

We are looking for a strategic and detail-driven Financial Analyst to support the financial performance and operational efficiency of our multifamily property portfolio. In this role, you will analyze financial data across multiple properties, compare results against budgets and industry benchmarks, and interpret trends and forecasts. Your insights will directly inform property-level and portfolio-wide decisions, helping to optimize NOI, occupancy, and overall asset performance. This position plays a key role in supporting both daily operations and long-term strategic planning.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Create Equity & Financing Packages: Compile and analyze property-level and portfolio-wide financial data to develop compelling equity and financing packages. Summarize key investment highlights, market trends, and financial requirements to support capital raising and strategic decisions.
  • Monitor Rent Strategy & Occupancy Performance: Analyze rent rolls, occupancy trends, and market comps to assess pricing effectiveness. Recommend rent adjustments, concessions, or leasing incentives to optimize revenue and maintain competitive positioning across multifamily assets.
  • Lead Strategic Planning & Investment Analysis: Prepare and maintain a rolling 5-year strategic financial plan for the multifamily portfolio. Support underwriting for acquisitions, value-add opportunities, and large-scale investments. Oversee reporting for internal and external investment partners.
  • Manage Budgets & Financial Operations: Prepare and review annual operating budgets, monthly financials, payroll entries, and vendor invoices. Ensure accuracy, flag variances, and support timely loan draw submissions and expense tracking for each property.
  • Conduct Market Research & Due Diligence: Perform market surveys and competitive analysis to support acquisitions, repositioning strategies, and rent-setting decisions. Compile data into audit-ready reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  • Support Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting: Act as a financial liaison between corporate leadership and on-site property teams. Deliver clear, actionable financial reports and insights to support leasing, operations, and asset management initiatives.

The salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
