JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Treasury Analyst is a multifaceted role responsible for managing secure user access to bank systems, processing check and ACH Positive Pay transactions to prevent fraud, and performing detailed research on bank accounts and transactions. This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the integrity of financial transactions across the organization’s banking network.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bank Access Administration:

  • Create, modify, and delete user access on various bank platforms.
  • Assign permissions based on roles and business needs, ensuring security and compliance.
  • Monitor access control systems and maintain accurate user access records.
  • Coordinate with banking partners to resolve access-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

2. Check and ACH Positive Pay Processing:

  • Review and process Positive Pay files for check and ACH payments.
  • Validate payment data against authorized issue files.
  • Investigate and resolve exceptions such as mismatches or unauthorized transactions.
  • Work with internal departments and financial institutions to ensure resolution of discrepancies.
  • Assist in setting up Positive Pay services for new or existing bank accounts.

3. Bank Account Research and Maintenance:

  • Investigate and resolve bank account discrepancies, customer inquiries, and transaction errors.
  • Perform in-depth transaction research to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Process requests for account updates, maintenance, or product changes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments and banking partners on account-related projects and enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in banking operations, treasury, or financial services.
  • Working knowledge of online banking platforms, user administration, and fraud prevention tools.
  • Familiarity with Positive Pay systems and ACH/check processing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and processing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with systems like JPMorgan Access, Wells Fargo CEO, or similar is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of banking regulations, KYC, and internal control practices.
  • Experience working with multiple bank partners or in a high-volume treasury environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a deadline-driven setting.

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
