Greystar Apex team is building and scaling a resident-centric ecosystem of products, which enables us to have a 360 view of the prospect/resident to improve operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.

About the role:
As a Sitecore Solutions Architect, you will work on industry-changing products and features designed to make shopping for an apartment more streamlined, e-commerce friendly and efficient. With your help, we will improve our customer’s apartment shopping journey and enable business intelligence to help us personalize the apartment shopping experience for our residents.

The successful candidate is a highly skilled Sitecore architect with a strong sense of teamwork, personal integrity, accountability, and the ability to understand business functions and requirements, translating to innovative working applications while navigating competing priority tradeoffs.


JOB DESCRIPTION

What You Will Do:
• Be a trusted advisor and be a technical authority on Sitecore XM Cloud & Vercel platforms, staying updated on the latest industry trends, best practices, and platform features.
• Oversee the resolution of break-fix issues related to the Sitecore platform, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Review and ensure major architectural designs are consistent, maintainable, flexible, and cost-effective.
• Oversee the development, maintenance, technical support, documentation, and administration of Sitecore XM Cloud applications. Oversee releases, provide hands-on development support / guide the team in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting system performance.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements for small enhancements and improvements ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations and alignment with overall global tech stack vision.
• Ensure knowledge transfer from implementation vendors to Greystar and document best practices for Sitecore development & release processes.
• Maintain collaborative and strategic partnerships between 3rd party partners/vendors, customers, and technology teams.
• Participate in technical decisions and provide technical coaching, helping tech leads to help define and prioritize engineering roadmap.
• Provide level 2 and/or level 3 production support as needed.

Team Leadership (Future Requirement):
• Lead and manage a team of Sitecore developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring continuous skill development.

Technical Qualifications:
• In-depth knowledge of Sitecore CMS (including XM Cloud) architecture, customization, and best practices.
• Expert understanding of headless implementations of Sitecore XM Cloud using modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React/Next.js)
• Knowledge of latest Sitecore products such as Personalize, Content Hub, Sitecore search, etc.
• Strong technical / coding experience in .NET Core and deep understanding of various API patterns such as REST and GraphQL
• Expertise in setup and managing monitoring tools (Datadog or equivalent) for web applications
• Proficient in modern development practices in Azure DevOps including CI/CD setup & code quality checks
• Proficient in development tooling including Git, Bash, PowerShell
• 5+ years of relevant experience working with Sitecore (must have experience with headless approach)
• 5+ years of relevant experience working with modern web frameworks like Next.js/Vue.js
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing applications in C# .NET and experience in developing microservices-based architecture in cloud
• 3+ years of relevant experience working with Azure PaaS resources such as Azure Service Bus, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, CosmosDB, Azure SQL, Azure APIM, and Azure Notification Hub.
• Expert knowledge of cloud-native architecture, web-based systems architecture, service-oriented architecture, and enterprise application architecture.

Technical Pre-screening test and technical interview will be required for all candidates

• Strong communication skills with the capability to work in a cross-disciplinary team with technical and business stakeholders
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, experience managing expectations and priorities
• Innovative and passionate about your work and the work of your teammates
• Self-motivated with a proven track record in software architecture, design, and implementation.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading development teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business management information systems, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred

Working Conditions:
• Occasional time outside of core hours depending on priorities and deliverables
• Some travel (with advance notice) may be required for training, team meetings or other events

Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for an annual performance bonus that is based on individual and company performance.

Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary weekly, monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
