JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Supports the strategic and daily management of the financial performance and operations of the assigned area by gathering and analyzing financial data and reports against budgets and key financial benchmarks, interpreting trends, forecasts, and financial results, and developing recommendations for optimum financial performance. Position will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial forecasting and budgeting, and will play a key role in driving financial efficiency and growth.

JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform analysis of department product offerings and vendor platform performance to determine if product adoption is consistent with budget and growth goals
  • Prepares monthly and annual department performance analysis of Key Performance Indicators and financial goals.
  • Assist in forecasting and building financial model to evaluate potential business impacts of new initiatives.
  • Prepares and reviews budget, revenue, expenses, invoices, and other accounting documents and researches and resolves discrepancies as necessary.
  • Performs department product performance surveys for due diligence by preparing metrics, comparing and analyzing data, and finalizing roll-ups for audits.
  • Assist in identifying and analyzing strategic partnership opportunities to optimize demand-supply alignment across corporate, B2B and short-term rental platforms.
  • Effectively communicate, manage, and support the development and implementation of strategies, programs, and activities that drive financial performance of lead generation platforms from short term rental programs, with a focus on Airbnb programs.
  • Gathers feedback and data to effectively evaluate the operating and business performance of programs against established metrics and measures
  • Support the development of workflows and processes that drive operational efficiency and standardization across multiple business lines.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform operational strategies and best practices.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to generate insights that support operational decision-making and process improvements.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics and program effectiveness.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including Client Services, IT, Talent Management, and Compliance, to support the implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining documentation for operational processes, including policies, training and sales materials, and procedures.
  • Provide analytical support for sales strategies and business development initiatives.
  • Assist in developing playbooks and standards to centralize sales and operations, as well as creating sales presentations to support the platform

BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Operations, or combination of education and experience, required.
  • Experience:
    • 2–4 years of experience in operations, strategy, business analysis, or a related field.
    • Experience in real estate, multi-family housing, or property management preferred.
    • Experience supporting sales, marketing, or operational teams is a plus.
    • Employment history that demonstrates the application and usage of an accounting and financial background sufficient to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports in accordance with accounting, finance, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
    • Expertise in developing sales and marketing presentations in PowerPoint and Canva
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and database management tools; experience with business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to create reports and presentations for senior leadership.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Team members work in an office or remote work environment. No special physical demands are required.
  • Rare or occasional travel may be required to attend business meetings, training programs, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
