JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The People & Culture Generalist will provide comprehensive HR support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, supporting employee engagement initiatives, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and partnering with business leaders to drive a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage end-to-end HR processes, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.
  • Assist in talent acquisition efforts, partnering with hiring managers to support recruitment and selection.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian employment laws, workplace regulations, and company policies.
  • Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organisation.
  • Oversee HR administrative tasks such as maintaining HR records, managing contracts, and handling employee inquiries.
  • Assist with HRIS system management, ensuring data accuracy and supporting HR reporting needs.
  • Drive employee engagement by supporting company-wide initiatives, events, and wellness programs.
  • Provide support on compensation, benefits, and payroll-related queries.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as an People & Culture Generalist or similar role in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment laws and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused mindset with a passion for people and culture.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms (Workday experience preferred).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
