JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Opportunity Overview:
As Director, Australia Systems, you will be responsible for translating business strategy into robust, scalable technology solutions that support day-to-day operations and future growth across our BTR and PBSA portfolios.
You will work as a trusted senior partner to the business, working closely with senior stakeholders to interpret business needs across systems, vendors, and delivery priorities, ensuring technology platforms are secure, resilient, and fit for scale.
This role balances required the ability to run day to day business demands alongside continuous improvement and change, requiring strong judgement, a people-first leadership style, and the confidence to make decisions that balance delivery, risk and long-term capability.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Own and lead business systems across Property Operations, Development and Investment, ensuring high availability, reliability, and adoption
Provide clear decision-making authority across systems, delivery priorities and vendor solutions
Lead delivery, optimisation, and scaling of systems to support portfolio growth and new asset mobilisation
Actively manage operating and technology risk, partnering closely with IT Security and enterprise teams
Develop and maintain clear system roadmaps, aligned to business priorities, operational pain points and competitive positioning
Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across Operations, Finance, Asset Management and Development, presenting insights, recommendations and delivery progress
Lead, support and develop a small, high-impact team of Business Systems Analysts
Manage strategic vendor relationships with a focus on quality, outcomes and commercial discipline
Champion change, communication and adoption across diverse, multi-disciplinary teams
Liaise with global and regional technology leaders to ensure alignment with enterprise platforms, governance, and standards
About You:
You are a collaborative and confident technology leader, with expertise in enterprise and operational systems. You are comfortable operating in complexity, but known for bringing clarity, structure and calm execution.
Experience and capabilities:
Demonstrated leadership experience within business systems, enterprise applications or technology delivery, gained within real estate, BTR, PBSA, hospitality of similar
Strong background implementing and operating systems at scale across property operations, development and/or investment environments
Strong understanding of system reliability, operational risk and service continuity
Experience working with enterprise platforms (e.g. property management systems, ERP, finance and reporting tools)
