JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As Australia continues to grow rapidly across the APAC region, we are seeking a Data Analyst to join our International Data and Analytics function, based in Sydney and working closely with our Australian Asset Management, Investments and Operations teams.

This is a high impact, business-facing role focused on strengthening local reporting capability, improving data integrity, and delivering meaningful insights that support asset and investment performance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Working closely with Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Investments and Operations, you will:

  • Analyse operational and asset-level data to support performance and investment decisions

  • Build and enhance Power BI dashboards that provide clear, commercially relevant insights

  • Write and optimise SQL queries across our data warehouse environment

  • Review data integrity issues and identify root causes, working with stakeholders to improve processes

  • Enhance financial and operational reporting capability across the Australian portfolio

  • Partner with operations teams and business systems to strengthen data processes and controls

  • Explore external data sources to enhance market intelligence and portfolio insight

  • Contribute to automation and emerging AI initiatives within the broader Data and Analytics function

About You:

You are a capable and commercially aware Data Analyst with strong SQL and Power BI skills, comfortable working independently and partnering with asset and investment stakeholders to deliver clear insights, strengthen data processes, and support informed decision making.

In addition, you bring:

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong SQL and Python capability

  • Experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI

  • Solid understanding of data warehouse environments

  • Demonstrated experience working within a data or analytics team gained within a multinational organisation, ability to work across a multilingual / currency environment

  • Experience working with large operational or financial datasets

  • Experience in real estate, hospitality or finance

Highly Regarded

  • Exposure to AI technologies and emerging tools, including familiarity with LLMs

  • Experience reviewing and improving data quality reporting processes

  • Solutions focused, able to present data and tell the story to non-technical stakeholders

This is not a purely technical reporting role. You will work closely with decision makers and play a visible role in strengthening how data is used across the Australian business.
