JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

We are hiring a seasonal full-time Leasing Professional to join our team through July 2026. After six months of employment, you will be eligible for a transfer within Greystar. This position is responsible for coordinating the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. This includes all activities related to leasing to new residents, ensuring resident satisfaction throughout the lease term, and securing timely lease renewals.

This is a temporary/seasonal position.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform all sales and leasing activities to meet the community’s revenue and occupancy goals, including greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, running credit and background checks, preparing leases, and ensuring smooth move-ins.

  • Inspect apartments prior to move-in to confirm they are in market-ready condition and coordinate with maintenance for any outstanding needs.

  • Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop marketing plans to sustain occupancy, and follow community policies for concessions, specials, and programs.

  • Execute marketing activities to generate traffic, such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, online advertising, and community-specific initiatives.

  • Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record leasing activities, and maintain accurate resident and prospect data.

  • Maintain community and model units to company standards, including daily inspections of common areas, merchandising, and preparing the leasing office for tours.

  • Follow up with prospects and residents through calls, emails, and thank-you notes to encourage leasing and renewals.

  • Support lease renewal efforts by preparing renewal documents, contacting residents before move-out dates, and ensuring all paperwork is completed on time.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident and owner inquiries, resolving concerns and documenting requests as needed.

Required Licenses or Certifications:

  • Must hold all licenses/certifications required by state and local jurisdictions.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.

  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 25 lbs. independently and up to 50 lbs. with assistance.

  • Occasional travel may be required for training, assisting other properties, or attending meetings.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and take “on-call” shifts as needed.

The hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
