JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Strategy & Financial Performance
- Champion and execute Greystar's property management strategies across your portfolio, creating the operational foundation for assets to consistently exceed financial targets.
- Lead budgeting and reforecasting cycles with rigour; analyse financial statements, identify performance gaps, and implement decisive corrective action.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, partnering with central teams to develop sharp sales and marketing strategies that maximise occupancy and revenue.
Deliver Operational Excellence
- Conduct regular property inspections and performance reviews, ensuring every asset meets Greystar's exacting operational, financial, and brand standards.
- Oversee procurement of supplies, equipment, and essential services, building reliable supplier relationships that support day-to-day operations.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement — identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and implementing changes that raise the bar.
- Stay ahead of industry developments in technology, legislation, and best practice, applying new knowledge to enhance performance across your portfolio.
Lead & Inspire Your Team
- Attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent — from recruitment and onboarding through to ongoing coaching and performance management.
- Build a high-performing, engaged team that is united around a shared purpose: delivering outstanding experiences for every resident.
- Foster a culture of accountability, support, and ambition, in line with Greystar's values and business standards.
Put Residents First
- Place the resident experience at the centre of every decision, ensuring your team consistently exceeds expectations at every touchpoint — from first enquiry to move-out.
- Actively seek and act on resident feedback, embedding a proactive approach to service improvement across the portfolio.
Uphold Safety & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and operational standards across all properties.
- Maintain a safe environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues — responding swiftly and appropriately to any safety concerns.
Role Scope
- Based in Paris (Greystar France Corporate Office), with travel across France as required.
- Accountable for French property operations, annual property management fee budgets, and property-level Net Operating Income.
- Managing residential units across multiple locations in France.
- With a particular focus on lease-up and stabilisation of new assets — working with third-party agents, central support teams, and contractors to establish processes, resolve snagging issues, and create a seamless resident journey from leasing through to end of tenancy.
About You
We are looking for a confident, commercially sharp leader who thrives in fast-paced, people-driven environments. You are someone who sees problems as opportunities, holds yourself and your team to high standards, and takes genuine pride in delivering exceptional outcomes.
Knowledge & Qualifications
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property/accommodation management software.
- A working knowledge of French tenancy legislation and building management regulations (or a willingness to develop this quickly).
- Full professional fluency in both English and French.
Experience & Skills
Essential
- Proven senior-level experience leading multi-site operations in a service-driven sector — property, hospitality, leisure, or retail.
- A track record of successfully launching new assets, products, or services and bringing them to full operational performance.
- Exceptional financial acumen — comfortable owning budgets, reading P&Ls, and driving commercial results.
- A natural leader: respected by your team, trusted by stakeholders, and able to influence at all levels.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and align diverse teams around a shared vision.
- Resilient and adaptable — you stay focused and solution-oriented under pressure, even when priorities shift.
- Experience collaborating in complex, cross-functional environments.
Desirable
- Experience managing or leading through periods of organisational change.
- An international or cross-border working background.
- Proficiency in a third language.
