Greystar’s 6 Month investment management internship in France provides an opportunity for students interested in a career in the real estate industry. Interns will gain practical experience in all areas of our Investment function that is tasked with the execution of new acquisition and development activity.

The role provides support and input to investment activities, through research, preparing analysis and presentation to support and determine the feasibility of new investment strategies and opportunities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

What you will learn:

In this fast-paced role, you'll be at the heart of strategic decision-making, gaining valuable hands-on experience in:

Real Estate Valuation Analysis: Learn to dissect property values, understanding the key factors that influence investment decisions and drive success.

Financial Modelling: Increase your Excel capability by learning how to build and refine models to analyse investment scenarios and inform decision-making processes.

Market Research: Develop your research skills to uncover market trends, identify high-potential opportunities, and mitigate potential risks.

Data Mining: Learn to extract valuable insights from various data sources, using your findings to support investment analysis and decision-making.

Investment Analysis: Contribute to the analysis for investment decisions, including risk assessments, financial evaluations, and scenario analysis.

Presentation Development: Hone your communication skills, helping to build impactful presentations that clearly explain complex investment concepts and recommendations.

Key Relationships

• This role works closely with colleagues and senior leaders across the wider Investment team, Development team, Asset Management team and Operations team.

Who we're looking for:

• A highly motivated individual with a strong desire to learn about real estate investment.

• Someone with a quantitative background and a knack for solving problems analytically.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in French and English

• A meticulous and detail-oriented approach to work.

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s degree program in real estate, finance or a STEM pathway at a top tier university

• Naturally inquisitive and commercially minded, with a desire to understand the bigger picture and contribute to understanding and solving problems. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships at all levels.
