JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
This national role is pivotal in delivering operational excellence at scale, embedding consistency across assets, and partnering within the business to ensure our communities perform at the highest commercial, compliance, and service levels.
As an influential operations partner, you will guide site-based and regional teams through change, champion process innovation, and ensure that systems, training, and performance frameworks support scalable growth across a diverse and expanding portfolio.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Drive Standardisation & Efficiency: Lead the development and deployment of operating procedures, aligning them with Greystar’s global standards and local market conditions.
Operational Excellence: Act as a strategic partner to Community Managers and Regional Operations Managers, providing ongoing coaching, training, and operational oversight.
Compliance & Risk Oversight: Ensure compliance with all relevant tenancy legislation, health and safety regulations, and internal controls across all sites.
Strategic Onboarding: Support the successful integration of new communities, ensuring operational readiness and alignment with Greystar systems and policies.
Business Transformation: Collaborate across Systems, Learning & Development, and Asset Management teams to drive process improvement, platform enhancements, and service optimisation.
Leadership Support: Temporarily assume operational leadership of sites where needed, ensuring stability and continuity in the absence of on-site Community Managers.
Performance & Insight: Monitor key financial and operational metrics, conduct audits, and deliver insights that inform data-driven decision-making across the business.
About You:
The ideal candidate is a proven operator who thrives in dynamic, fast-scaling settings and understands the operational levers that drive asset performance and resident satisfaction. With experience in residential or hospitality operations, you focus on creating processes in which people, process, and performance unite.
In addition, you bring:
5+ years of experience in residential leasing, property operations, sales or student accommodation.
Demonstrated success in process improvement and change implementation.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a keen eye for operational performance.
In-depth knowledge of landlord/tenant legislation and H&S compliance.
A collaborative working style, with exceptional communication skills.
Ability to independently drive and oversee complex workflows from initiation to completion
Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems platforms.
A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is preferred.
Willingness to travel nationally and support sites as needed.
