JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Analyst is responsible for supporting the Investment function of the business that is tasked with the execution of new acquisition and development activity.

The role provides support and input to investment activities, through research, underwriting, modelling and preparing analysis to support and determine the feasibility of new investment strategies and opportunities. The Analyst will also support the analysis and presentation of key performance information both internally and to external investment partners to drive well-informed and value-enhancing decisions on existing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, compile, investigate andanalysemarket data toidentifyinvestment and development opportunities;andalso,to develop and enhance current research sources.

  • Work withAnalystcolleaguesto assess new opportunities - providing key information on operationalinputs;

  • Prepare analysis ofinvestmentmanagement initiatives for internal and external review, includingworking withdetailedDCFmodels

  • Work withcolleaguestomonitorperformance of specific initiatives and deliver key performance metrics to the businesscovering leasing performance, income,expenseandreturns;

  • Support internal and external relationshipmanagement through the production of reports andcommentaries;

  • Support the execution ofinvestmentstrategies including income, costreductionand value-addinitiatives;

  • Work with stakeholders across the business to improve our reporting systems and data capture to drive visibility andefficiency;

  • Support themobilisationof new assets and portfolios into thebusiness;

  • Monitorand report on key market,industryand competitordata;

  • Complete various financial, accounting, narrative, administrative and other reports and analysis and duties as assigned or necessary for the successful execution of the business plans.

Knowledge & Qualifications: 

  • Educated to degree levelor equivalent(2:1 and above)in arelated business or analyticalsubject;such asfinance,business management, real estate, accounting,economics,mathematics,statistics;science or engineering. 

  • IT literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft packages including PowerPoint (Advanced level) and Excel (Advanced level) 

Experience & Skills: 

Essential:

  • Demonstratedexperience in an analytical rolewithininvestment banking,private equity,or otherrelatedfinance, withina relatedgeographicalregion.

  • Strong quantitative backgroundwithexperience infinancial modelling,valuationsand financial analysis.

  • Strong qualitative analyticalskills;having the ability to research, analyse and present complex financial data.

  • Highly numerate,withstrong attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; including the ability to effectively write and present reports and information.

  • Excellentinterpersonal skillsincluding the ability toestablishand maintain positive relationshipsat all levels.

  • Good organisation skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines.

  • Naturally inquisitiveand commercially minded,with a desire to understand the bigger pictureand contribute to understanding and solving problems

  • A positive team player, with an adaptable and flexible approach along with ability to work collaboratively to drive results and support thewider team and businessobjectives

  • An interest in Real Estate.

Desirable:

  • Demonstrableexperience working in the Real Estate Sector. 

  • Experience working in residential sector or on residential projects.

  • Fluency in a European Language.
