Job Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the leasing or maintenance teams by assisting in various administrative tasks or technical and mechanical work to ensure performance goals are met in preparation of apartment turn season.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assists with maintenance with trash management, and unit inspections.
- Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
- Performs touch-up paints for vacants and partially occupied units and ensures apartment homes have been properly caulked and sealed as needed around windows, sink areas, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
- Assists with moving furniture, and installing new furniture (could involve lifting some furniture 50 lbs. or more depending on what replacements are needed in the apartment)
- Assists with the move-in and move-out process for residents; commits to working move-in and move-outs with the understanding that these events, along with “turn”, are mandatory work dates.
- May act as an after-hours liaison between residents and property management.
- Assists with mandatory on-call schedule, for which the team member will be paid a specified minimum number of hours plus any actual hours that exceed the standard minimum hours.
- Responds to after-hours emergencies within a required period of time. At least one on-call shift per week is expected; however, the schedule is determined at the site level.
Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary weekly, monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
