JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The FP&A Analyst will assist with Financial Planning & Analysis at the consolidated level, providing strategic support to Greystar’s executive team across enterprise‑wide planning, analytics, and reporting. The role contributes to key finance deliverables, leveraging both traditional financial analysis and modern financial planning, analytics, and automation technologies. The Analyst will work with financial systems and reporting tools to help enhance data accuracy, automation, and scalability within the planning process. This role also includes preparing consolidated quarterly forecasts and annual business plans, supporting KPI reporting, analyzing performance to budget, and communicating insights to senior leadership.

Job Description

  • Assistin preparation of the Company’sconsolidatedannual business plans, quarterly reforecasting, and related presentation materials for senior leadershipusing technology-enabled planning and reporting tools

  • Prepare for business planning cycles,assistingin the development of Anaplan drivenmodels and reports, researching ways to standardize and improve outputs

  • Collaborate with various accounting & finance teamsand technology partnersto ensure cohesive presentation of business plans and reforecasts

  • Understand the processes,objectives, and value drivers in each line of business and collaborate with team leaders to analyze and report business driversusing system-generated and multi-source data

  • Support the creation and refinement of KPI reporting, including the use of financial planning technologies and data sources to enhance accuracy and insight.

  • Support the ongoing optimization of FP&A systems, improvingexisting reporting tools to make processes more efficient

  • Support adhoc analysis and scenario modeling using financial, operational, and systemgenerated data

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to requests from business leaders and others related to financial reporting & ad hoc requestswith a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and automation

  • Produce models to project long term growth anddeterminethe impacting business factorsleveragingscalable, technology-driven assumptions

  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, automation, and data integrity across financial reporting workflows

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance,accounting, or a related field, MBA orMAccis a plus

  • 1-2 years ofFP&Aexperience in a global companyor experience supporting financial systems, analytics, or reporting platforms

  • Strongproficiencyin Microsoft 365, especially advanced inExcel & PowerPoint

  • Experience with BI tools, financial systems, or planning technologies(e.g., Anaplan, enterprise budgeting tools)

  • Analytical curiosity and comfort working with data from multiple sources

Experience & Skills

  • Experience working withinorimplementing FP&A technology systems and/or BI Tools

  • Anaplan experience preferred, or desire to learnand developexpertisein financial planning platforms

  • Superior communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently with great attention to detail

  • Ability to prepare and explain financial dataand system-driven insightsto business leaders and managers, team members, and other business contacts

  • Ability to manipulate and sort large volume of data in excelandvalidatesystem outputs

  • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask, using initiative to prioritize

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
