Job Responsibilities

Ensures a smooth transition from day to night community operations through contributing to an exceptional 24/7 resident experience, delivering outstanding customer service, whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness within the community.


Key Role Responsibilities:
  • Greets residents and guests as they enter the community, and ensures that everyone has an enjoyable experience within the community
  • Provides reception, administration, and exceptional customer service and safety support (including key management and handling lock outs)
  • Ensures all relevant community policies and procedures are followed effectively. This includes monitoring amenity spaces and holding residents accountable
  • Prepares and delivers timely communication between day and night teams ensuring all resident issues are handed over effectively
  • Supports the smooth running of social events and activities, encouraging engagement and assisting the team in the retention of residents.
  • Provides a decisive and effective response to customer complaints requiring action in a timely manner, assisting in and resolving customer disputes and escalating where necessary and with appropriate support and guidance
  • Ensures a safe and secure environment at all times, responding to and attending safety and basic maintenance related calls
  • Manages common amenity areas ensuring that the property is presented to an exceptional standard by undertaking or delegating minor cleaning around the grounds and inside buildings, including cleaning up spills
  • Minor maintenance issues – and the effective reporting of all tenant faults if unable to deal with the fault there and then.
  • Investigating maintenance problems and finding solutions where possible, to include but not limited to:
    • Managing basic lock and key issues e.g. reprogramming and resetting keys
    • Investigating heating and cooling at a basic level
    • Investigating power supply and lighting problems at a basic level
    • Fixing leaks through isolating water supply
    • Addressing basic maintenance items around common spaces
  • Maintains the daily activity log, ensuring the Community Manager is informed of all incidents, and reporting any trends and repeat behaviors when necessary
  • Maintains an awareness of Health and Safety, Data Protection and compliance, and ensures adherence at all times.
  • Answers phone calls and assists with service requests as necessary.
  • Monitors community via property walks and security cameras
  • Manages all packages by securing packages in lockers/package rooms and delivering packages to apartment doors when necessary
  • Keeps a daily log of events and community security status.  Reports any concerns to management.
  • Keeps detailed information on happenings around community - events, maintenance updates, etc
  • Handles elevator reservations for move-in, move-out and furniture deliveries
  • Demonstrates a flexible approach to work and a willingness to undertake all reasonable duties as requested
  • Identifies areas for improvement, offers suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity, and implements ideas that achieve operational excellence.
  • Works 10 hours shifts, 4 nights a week
  • Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
  • Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training classes
  • Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
  • Demonstrates appropriate safe behaviors in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).


Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary.  Once eligible,  team members may participate in the 401k plan.  Regular, full-time team members are also offered a  range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits from which to choose.
