Job Responsibilities

The Transaction Team Intern will support the execution of due diligence processes and programs to assist in facilitating the successful completion of all Investment Group transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing. The individual will also have large exposure to Greystar’s legal entity management and structuring.

Greystar’s Corporate Internship role provides an opportunity for students currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year undergraduate degree program interested in a career in the real estate industry.


  • Facilitate/coordinate information flow during acquisition/ disposition processes- specifically as relates to Due Diligence.
  • Organization of information for acquisitions/ dispositions/ recapitalizations/financing
  • Assist with overall organization and maintenance of owned asset information
  • Works closely with the Information Technology department to manage the placement, storage and access administration of all information relating to entity management and property files within  Diligent
  • Completes various tracking and other reports and analysis, as well as performs other duties as assigned or as necessary
  • Maintain professional and organized communication as relates to above
  • This role will include exposure across various lines of business in interfacing with internal parties as relates to Investments, Development, Finance, Portfolio Management, Accounting, Information Technology, Risk Management etc.
  • As well as externally including  Brokers, Lenders, Sell/Buy Side Principals, Title, Legal, 3rd party vendors and so on.  
  • Complete end of program Capstone Project and Presentation.
  •  Participate in Intern Program events such as Orientation, Executive Speaker Series, Trainings & Workshops, weekly Lunch & Learns, Mentorship activities, and site visits.

Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary.  Once eligible,  team members may participate in the 401k plan.  Regular, full-time team members are also offered a  range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits from which to choose.
