Investor Relations Senior Analyst

This position is an interdisciplinary role that bridges investor relations, capital raising, portfolio management, investment accounting and research and strategy with the aim of delivering high quality and accurate financial and portfolio information to investor clients.

1. Prepare investor communications including quarterly financial statements, portfolio updates, capital calls, distributions and general strategy reports.
2. Provide exceptional and timely client service to current and potential investors in commingled funds and separate account vehicles.
3. Assist in preparing marketing and investor materials for existing and potential investors, including pitch books, PPMs, fund offering documents, due diligence questionnaires and RFPs.
4. Develop innovative and creative ways to market investment products to Institutional Investors.
5. Oversee data room for prospective funds and vehicles.
6. Work collaboratively with portfolio management, finance and accounting, and senior management to support reporting to investor clients.
7. Create and maintain a database for all reporting deliverables and tracking various deadlines stated in venture documents and side letters
8. Respond to investor inquiries and requests for information.
9. Assist in the management of the investor closing and due diligence process.
10. Manage investor portal for existing and prospective capital partners.


JOB DESCRIPTION

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively to prepare and explain data to team members and clients.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs in order to complete required reports.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an investor relations/portfolio management role with an adviser or manager of alternative investment strategies (such as real estate, private equity, or hedge funds) or comparable investment banking prior experience.
  • Demonstrated fundamental knowledge of institutional private fund products and how these vehicles are structured.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail as well as quality of deliverables.
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with an institutional clientbase.
  • Must have a keen understanding of technology best practices specific to the Investor Relations/Reporting role.
  • Proficiency with key investment metrics (IRR, equity multiple, etc.).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Undergraduate degree required.

Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary.  Once eligible,  team members may participate in the 401k plan.  Regular, full-time team members are also offered a  range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits from which to choose.
