We are looking for an Investment Analyst to join our growing credit portfolio of both publicly traded, and private originated loans collateralized by multifamily assets. The investment objective of this business unit is to generate above-average risk-adjusted returns. The Analyst will work closely with all members of the credit team and help support both portfolio management and asset management.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• • Assist with asset management and portfolio management functions for Greystar’s Real Estate Credit investment strategies;
  • Monitor and analyze Greystar’s existing credit investments and venture performance;
  • Prepare and/or develop financial models;
  • Prepare investment committee memorandums and assist with preparation of presentations for senior management and investors;
  • Build relationships and be comfortable interacting with internal stakeholders, investors, and other market participants;
  • Review and offer opinions that benefit from collaboration with other Greystar professionals, market participants, and industry research

  ​​Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and analytical and problem-solving ability. 
  • Ability to handle large volume of work; good organizational skills and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business, or a related major is preferred
  • Students entering their final year of undergraduate school

  *The start date for this position is in June 2023*
